Allan Bros. is an importer of tools and fasteners and manufacturer of nails and has been supplying S.A with quality products for over 30 years.

How efficient is the delivery times?

Depending on your location and early morning ordering, deliveries can be ensured same day or 1 -3 days, provided that valid proof of payment is received.

What is the cost of delivery?

The Standard Delivery rates are: 
R89.00 (excl.) for UTI courier delivery. (This rate ensures next day service for main cities and 72 hours for all other areas and excludes weekends)).

To avoid disappointment for next day deliveries your order should be placed and paid for by 1:30pm, hence allowing the couriers enough time to collect the parcel.

Who will advise me if the product that I have ordered is in your stock?

A sales representative will ensure that daily orders placed are in our stock and if your product is not in stock, you will be contacted immediately to discuss alternatives or a refund.

What is the main reason for creating an account and logging in prior to making a purchase?

Simply  allows for easier checkouts and when logged in, one can also view their order history, set up different delivery addresses and track the progress of your orders.

What happens in the instance when one forgets their password?

Go to the log in page and click: forgotten password. Enter your email address and we will send you a temporary password. Once this has been entered, you can go to the My Account section and change your password back to something easier to remember.

Is it possible to amend an order once it has been submitted?

It can only be amended by contacting a sales representative immediately, as submitted orders will not be able to be amended on the website.  

What is the process of returning an item?

Is it possible to deliver goods to a different address as opposed to the order placed?

By all means, provided that you have entered the delivery address details on the address page of the Checkout section.

Can the status of an order be tracked?

On the sales representative processing your order, an email will be sent confirming the order, the courier used , delivery details and a tracking number which you can use on the designated courier’s website.

How safe is it to buy online from Allan Bros? How secure is your website?

Extremely safe, as all credit card transactions takes place on a secure page, storing no credit card details.

Methods of payment?

  • By Credit or debit card via the Allan Bros website
  • EFT(Electronic Funds Transfer): Orders will be sent as soon as the funds are cleared, usually on the same or next day. Proceed through checkout as per normal and you will be asked for your preferential payment method:  EFT or by credit/debit card.
  • Cheques: Not advisable due to fraud and paying by cheque can take up to seven (7) working days to clear, after which your order will be shipped.
